Charlotte Pendragon, internationally known illusionist is the most groundbreaking female magician in the world.
But before she made the world of illusion her life's ambition, Charlotte had an affinity for athleticism and physical esthetics.
While attending the University of California at Irvine, Charlotte studied ballet under the legendary choreographer Eugene Loring.
Charlotte also trained in gymnastics, bodybuilding and competed in swimming competitions.
It was also during this time where Charlotte met a gymnast and theatre student, Jonathan Yarbrough.
The two married soon and forged a magic partnership called The Pendragons. Jonathan and Charlotte's athletic prowess allowed the pair to develop a distinctive and graceful take on classic illusions for over 25 years.
Charlotte has been stunning audiences that have included the President of the United States, the Queen of England, the Prince of Wales and the Royal Family of Monaco with her incredible illusions.
She has starred in 14 prime time magic specials on NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, PBS, Disney, Showtime, The Family Channel, VH1, E Entertainment and on CNN's Showbiz Today.
As a headliner, Charlotte has graced the stages of some of the most prominent stages including Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas and Bally's Grand, Las Vegas.
She was the first woman to receive the “ Magician of the Year” award from the Academy of Magical Arts, and is the youngest woman to ever receive the “Performing Fellowship” from Hollywood’s famed Magic Castle.
Charlotte was also the first woman to be admitted into England’s famed magic Circle, amazing because she is an American and because no woman had ever received this honor in 100 plus years of the organization.
Apart from her illustrious magic career, Charlotte became part of the physical fitness culture in the late 70's.
With her incredible shape and classic beauty, Charlotte was a favorite model of publisher Joe Weider’s fitness magazines.
One article on her is titled "The Perfect body."
Later she studied pilates and weight training. This led to national titles as female physique champion.
Charlotte is recognized by Muscle and Fitness writer and editor, Bill Dobbins, as one of the sport's founding champions.
